Here’s a run down of the most interesting and visually impressive HTML5 and WebGL projects and experiments found across the web. Here’s our favourites.

Fluid Particles – Real-time particle-based 3D fluid simulation and rendering in WebGL. Fluid simulation is a GPU implementation. Particle rendering uses spherical ambient occlusion volumes.

Black Rain – A audio and visual webGL experiment.

Glitch – A study of glitch effects built in three.js – It’s simple yet strikingly effective and impactive. code available on Github and all under the MIT licence.

Mon – A webGL vector animation, celebrating halloween.

Flame – 3D fractals generated by typing letters. Code is viewable on github.
